Enjoy an easy-going walk with your family or dogs on the wonderful Path of Brandis in Lana! The path is long about five kilometers and passes through orchards, vineyards, chestnut forests, then over the golf-course in Lana and finally ends in the Gorge of Brandis with it's refreshing waterfall.
As an official and signed Nordic Walking and Jogging path, it's perfect for your daily training or even only for discovering the beautiful countryside of Lana - in all different seasons. It's on the way to visit the first Fruit Growing Museum Lana in South Tyrol!

Gaul Promenade in Lana

You take only ten minutes by feet from our Hotel Garni in Lana to the wonderful "Gaulpromenade" with it's well-cared gardens on the feed of the Braunsberg Castle. Just finding silence and listening to the roaring water of the brook and the waterfall.
The walk passes through a rock-tunnel, over two suspension-bridges and finally back to the starting-point. Here you can extend your walk on the sculpture-path with sunny playgrounds.

The path is beginning by the entry of the beautiful Ultental and crosses through fragrant forests, valley and mountain-landscapes. On the way you will find different signs of information about history, fruit and wine-growing, botany, zoology and geology of this region. Learn more about this region while hiking on the feets of the local mountain of Lana - the Vigiljoch.

Enjoy the wonderful panorama view to the Dolomites (Unesco World Heritage), Ortler and Texel group.
